HITSA: "IPW is fully transparent — also about pricing — and we are free to build everything ourselves."

Challenge
In many ways, we still see ourselves as the small metal workshop — but HITSA has grown into a larger company with production and projects in both Denmark and Sweden. We clearly needed more structure, both in quality assurance and documentation.

Most content was stored in Word files and on shared drives. We lacked both a proper system and the know-how to create structure. At the same time, a license renewal for our previous form program was approaching — costing DKK 40,000 — and we had only a couple of months to find a new solution and implement it.

Solution
I had just joined as Quality Coordinator and used the time to find the right tool. I knew we needed customization — but without ending up with a bill for every single change.

With IPW, we could build the forms and registrations we needed ourselves, without knowing HTML or doing any programming. We managed to build the entire structure and all forms before the license expired, and everything was implemented on time.

At the same time, it was a perfect match that HITSA was preparing for ISO 9001 certification. We were able to build both the system and the certification framework from scratch — and IPW supported the entire process.

Result
We now have a flexible structure that matches our “we want to grow and develop” mindset. Employees have been extremely open to the system — and have actively identified new opportunities and features that we continuously add.

Field technicians now have digital access to everything on mobile devices — even on construction sites — and we have eliminated paper and manual processes. The system feels familiar to them — and it works.
