Challenge
Food safety is a cornerstone at DAVA Foods, and delivering safe products is central to our vision. We needed to consolidate our quality management into one system, ensure proper documentation, and provide easy access to data for status meetings and inspections – while keeping the solution manageable for a small department..
Solution
In the beginning, I focused on building forms for data collection so that we could quickly access analytics, statistics, status reporting, audits, and inspections.
From a management perspective, the system supports our compliance with legislation and standards, strengthening our ability to meet customer requirements and expectations.
We implemented SOP functionality, making our procedures clearer and less text-heavy. The technical department wanted a system for managing maintenance, and since IPW already included a maintenance module, we did not need to invest in additional systems to get started. I have also proposed the competence module to HR as a relevant next step.
The system has also made it straightforward to share documents with colleagues in Sweden and Norway.
Result
I always speak positively about IPW. Similar management manuals may exist in other systems, but IPW is quick to implement, intuitive to use, and straightforward to configure.
If I encounter a specific challenge, I contact support — either by phone or email — and receive a prompt and competent response. We have a strong working relationship. When you are the only person in a department, as I am, that level of support makes a real difference
