Challenge
We use many registrations and needed a solution that made it easy to build forms — also for more complex case-handling processes such as non-conformities, audits, and goods receipt. That was something we could not work with ourselves in our previous quality system.
Solution
We implemented IPW in October and had a deadline for our Pharma department at year-end. We met it — both for documents and registrations.
We first attended initial training courses where we established the structure. We had planned to copy the structure from the old system, but instead chose to go through everything manually. That gave us the opportunity to clean up and review everything with fresh eyes.
I didn’t check how many documents were involved — because I would have done it anyway. Afterwards, it turned out to be almost 1,000 documents — and 90% of the work was completed by one employee alongside their regular tasks.
We have listened to users, built our own forms, and also used standard forms from IPW. It is easy to customize and intuitive to us.
Result
We have recertified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and are currently preparing for food certification, which must be ready by March 1.
IPW is a solid and flexible foundation. And seriously — it was easy to switch. You just need the willingness and interest. I have almost used it as a hobby.
